------------------------------------------
NIGHT HIKE CANCELED?
If you are planning on doing the night hike (20 mile), please contact the Scoutmaster. We currently only have two Scouts signed up for this hike. If we don't have any more, we will have to cancel the 20 mile night hike.
------------------------------------------
PLEASE BRING TENTS TO MAY HIKE
We are up to 50 people on the May Hike and considering that we are missing tents from Troop trailer, we are asking everyone to bring their own tent, if possible.
If you think you may have a tent, PLEASE take a moment to see if a tent inadvertently came back to you. To return a tent, see the emailed newsletter for more information to make other arrangements.
------------------------------------------
MAY HIKE PERMISSION SLIPS
We also MUST have a completed health form parts A & B and a permission slip for both Scouts and Adults.
Scouts also need to have a signed canoe permission slip for May Hike. See the emailed newsletter for more information.
These MUST be turned in no later than Friday 5:30 at Holmes School. At this time, please also have the $60.00 for the cost. We will be collecting all of these at that time.
------------------------------------------
HIKING ADULTS: MUST HAVE YOUTH PROTECTION CERTIFICATES
Any adults attending the hike MUST also have taken the Youth Protection provided on Tuesday (or on-line) in addition to Safe Swim Defense and Safe Swim on-line courses. Please print out your certificate and turn it in with your papers for the hike.

Four to Five-Year Plan for Scouting
On Tuesday, we presented a way for your son to make Eagle over a 4-5 year plan. If you couldn't attend or need another copy, see the emailed newsletter for more information.
------------------------------------------
First Aid and Wilderness Survival Kit
First aid and wilderness survival kit instructions are available (see the emailed newsletter). We do have gloves available for these kits at no charge. Disposable CPR masks are available for $2.50 each. There will be kits shown to boys and any parents in attendance at the meeting next week.
------------------------------------------
Change for the Grand River Greenway
We are STILL collecting change for Grand River Greenway Segment One! There was some confusion about the project being put on hold; however, Segment ONE is not being put on hold (Segment Two is), and the village is still raising the $175,000 to complete the boardwalk/bike path. Troop 14 has set a goal of raising $100 in loose change. Help us make a difference in our community! Bring change to the May meetings!
------------------------------------------
