FLOWER SALES KICK-OFF MONDAY, MARCH 29TH

It's that time of year again! The Boy Scouts will be selling beautiful hanging flower baskets in time for Mother?s Day. These 10? hanging baskets are $12 each and the sale kick-off begins today, March 29th.

Scout order forms as well as two documents (one with flower pictures and another with plant descriptions, dates and other important info) are attached to this email.

Orders are due with payment at the troop meeting on Tuesday, April 20th. Scout earns 65% of the profit for their Scout account which is $2.45 per basket. Flower pick-up will be May 7th-8th at Lakeshore Electric on Short Street (off Airline Road). More details on time and directions soon to come.

REMINDER -- SWIMMING MERIT BADGE AT SPRING LAKE AQUATIC CENTER - TONIGHT (MONDAY) AT 6 PM

Remember, Troop 14 will be meeting tonight at 6pm in the Competition Pool at the Spring Lake Aquatic Center. Scouts will be working on their Swimming Merit Badge.

Scouts are reminded to arrive early as early as possible and to bring a shirt and pair of pants for one of the activities. Please no jeans or 100% cotton clothes.

TROOP 14 MEETING @ GO GEAR TUESDAY, MARCH 30 @ 6:30 PM

This week, Troop 14 will kick off their meeting at Go Gear. At that time, scouts and their parents can learn more about some of the latest camping supplies.

Go Gear usually offers us a 15% discount on that night only. For those scouts, parents and leaders planning on attending the May hike, it?s recommended that that scouts purchase at least two pairs of wicking underwear and two pairs of Smartwool-brand wool socks. If you do not plan on attending the hike, there?s no need to purchase anything at this time. Simply consider it an opportunity to learn more about the products and services (like renting gear) that Go Gear offers.

COURT OF HONOR UPDATE -- TENTATIVELY MOVED TO WEDNESDAY, APRIL 14TH

Due to a track team meet, we have received several requests to change the Court of Honor ceremony from Tuesday, April 13th to Wednesday, April 14th. A DECISION ON A DATE WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON WEDNESDAY.

Location: Grand Haven Elks Upstairs Ballroom. Located at the corner of Third/Franklin in Grand Haven.

Taco Bar Dinner from 6:15 PM to 6:50 PM

Ceremony from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM

Admission: $2 per person, Under 5 = complementary
