WEATHER CANCELLATIONS

With the recent set of winter storm warnings, we want to remind parents that Troop 14 will not meet on days that school has been closed or when all evening activities are cancelled.

TROOP 14 CLIMBING ADVENTURE

WHEN: Sunday, January 29th
MEET UP: Fruitport Orchard Market at 1pm
RETURN: Same day, same place at 4:30pm
Cost: $15
Limited to first 20 sign-ups.

KLONDYKE CAMPOUT IS COMING SOON!

Troop 14 is hosting the Klondyke this year. This means we need as many scouts (and dads) as possible to set up on Friday, February 3rd.

We will be staying in the cabin at Kirk Park through Sunday, February 5th. The cost per person is $10.00. This covers the food expenses. Sign ups and more information are at the Troop meetings.

We have some popcorn left from our sale from the fall. We are offering this at a reduced rate of 50% of the normal cost. This is what we have.

EAGLE CEREMONY: SAVE THE DATE!

HIGH ADVENTURE 2012

The DATE IS SET!! July 14-21, the scouts of Troop 14 will be headed out east! They will be camping one week at Gettysburg, during which they will: spend a day in Washington DC, spend a day hiking the Appalachian Trail in the mountains of Pennsylvania, go on a Gettysburg Ghost Tour, and tour battlefields while they learn about the Civil War.

Cost of $325 is all inclusive (travel, camping, meals, entrance fees). To attend, scouts must be first class and all participants have participated in a May Hike that consisted of 20 miles (Note: 2011 does not count, but 2012 or other years will - NO EXCEPTIONS!). Adult male mentors must register with the BSA and be current with all online training (which takes about 4 hours).

NOTICE: ONLY SIGN-UPS with $50 DEPOSIT PAID BY TUESDAY, JANUARY 24TH WILL BE GUARANTEED!
